Good size and shape
Compact, but big enough for plenty of pens and pencils. Tall enough for scissors without my pens and markers getting lost. Dropped it on my melamine floor at school with no cracks or scratches.

it did not completly help me organize my desk. I had to go find something else.
My desk was a mess. I had to constantly move things before I could do any work. I bought this object to keep my writing instruments and my bills and checkstubs in. The cup is not big enough for all that. My wife found a collection of plastic trays at another store She gave me some of hers and those helped clear up my work area.

Pen and Pencil Cup
I like it for the pens, pencils, and markers I use. I wish it was just a tad wider for use with 3x5 index card.

Perfect
I was thinking I needed a new pen cup that had a divider in it to separate the scissors, ruler and eyeglass case from the actual pens, and was heavy enough not to tip over. Just happened to be in Staples looking for something else and found this.

Sturdy cup
This is an integral part to my working desk area. I like it's light, but sturdy design. It is very portable, which is good since I move it everyday. I have fit quite a bit of things into it including: multiple pens and pencils, hole punch, scissors, light-weight ruler, highlighter, marker and a nail file. The side is also very handy for placing sticky notes!
