Smooth and easy pickup.
I was busy the week I ordered this item but they gave me a week to pick it up. When I got there they were cool and had it ready in a couple seconds. Great experience.

didn't connect
wouldn't pair with my (pixel) phone at all. did a bunch of troubleshooting with google and still no go. real bummer. price and delivery were good tho

Returned the unit.
Didn't do what I needed at all. It tried to take over my home simply to play my pad on a tv screen. Google doesn't get all that freedom in my home just because I want to view on a larger screen what is on my pad. Took it back.

Works great
Easy set up. I am now able to watch my subscribed cannels on my older, but fully functioning TV's. I used at home but plan to use in my RV and condo both have useable older flat screen units. This item is really a helpful tool. Just a note, it also automatically switched my TV to HDMI1, just have to remember to switch back for cable use.

Versatile device!
I primarily use the device to cast from my laptop to television for business. The device was easy enough to set up and has many different uses and allows me to utilize a few more features that I was unable to access with my laptop or Firestick (casting etc.). I have not had a negative or disappointment while using the device

Poor reliability and user experience
Very disappointed in both the reliability and the user experience with the chromecast compared to Roku devices I’ve owned in the past . Reboots several times when streaming even just one Prime video

Chromecast Makes Life Better
Easy to install, truly plug and play. Casting from a PC and phone have both been super easy: just find your show, tap the Chromecast icon, and like magic, it's on the TV! We've used it nearly every day for the past ten days, sometimes multiple times a day, and have never had a problem.

The device works fine, but the on screen installation instructions were poor. I kept beeing asked to buy more things before I could complete the install. I ended up having to call their customer service, and it took about 10-15 key strokes to find a number. But once there, the rep gave very clear, easy to understand, English language answers.
