Make quick copies.
I received this product in exchange of mt unbiased opinion this printer it is very nice make execellent copies, the only downside is it is only black and white. Prints and copies very fast.

Does not meet the needs of a small business
Unfortunately this printer was quite slow and made a significant amount of noise. When printing or copying several pages, it caused the pages to curl up. This makes putting these papers inside our folders and documents difficult. I was not impressed by this unit and will be returning as soon as our new printer arrives.

Great Printer
This is the best printer I have owned. Although the set up was very difficult Cannon tech support helped and was very easy to work with. Staples Greenville store was very helpful in the purchase as well. The only issue with the printer is that the keypad did not for many of the touches as it is very delicate and took 5 tries during set up

Excellent Choice
We are only using this as a copier, meaning we didn't have to go through all the online configurations. It was easy to get it up and running and all employees have had no problems using it. Not really any learning curve. Common sense and self-guided. Good looking copier and well packaged.

Great Printer But Hard to Set Up
It's a fast printer and has the functions that I need, but setting up the scanner has been a real pain. The manual is pretty thick, and interpreting it has been as issue. However, once that is done, it should all be fine. Just have someone with computer knowledge to help you.

Bad product. Canon has terrible customer service
I bought this printer and it did not print images well at all. It was extremely light and I even has our IT guy look into it...There's no way to change the contrast. I bought ink directly from CanonUSA's website, and they would not accept returns! $700 of ink in the trash. I recommend working with a company with best customer service.

Gets jammed a lot
The feeder scans the pages crooked, even if there are only 2 pages there to scan. And because it’s scanning in crooked, it gets jammed constantly. Very annoying.

Nice looking but performance isn't stellar
I hardly use this all-in-one after a month of ownership, since I have to reconfigure it everyday I use it and setting it up is no small feat, as others have also mentioned. Quick printing, scanning, and copies. Hard set up
Great once it's set up. Given that our laptops don't have dvd/cd drives, the installation cd did not help. Instructions are not simple and had to go online to find downloads to get scanning function to work. This was not as easy as it should have been either.

Horrible design, horrible product
Worst printer experience I've ever had. Out of box would not connect to network. Finally did, and it no longer recognized the security code and PIN I made them (and I didn't even want a PIN on my printer-but there's no choice). So can't get to any of the important functions. Not built to handle small business
I purchased this printer based on its ability to scan large files. It jams all the time. It does print beautiful documents and is easy to set up and use.

Disappointed with the Main tray feed
I purchased this for our office and found that the main tray pulls "face down"! This does NOT work when you run checks or anything that is in a certain order as it pulls upside down!!!! The ONLY option is to use the Multipurpose tray, but that is gravity fed and jams if you put too many checks in at once!
Other than that it is an Okay printer for the price. Just wish...

This multifunction printer does not have a fax
This printer was incredibly difficult to set up. Then after it was finally set up, the fax didn't work and we contacted CANON and they said this machine does not fax. I need a fax.
