Perfect
I need a backup system to make sure all my work is saved externally in case the computer would decide to stop working at some point. I have way too many files and programs to start over and would be basically shut down if I didn't have everything saved. I replaced a Seagate, which worked just fine, but my IT guy recommended the WD Passport and I am glad he did.

Somewhat difficult to use
It worked fine until I tried to eject from the USB port. Got Error Occurred message several times before finally getting it ejected.

Great storage device and Customer Svc
I have one that I use every day, this is a purchase for additional storage. Had an issue with a previous one and customer service was able to restore all my lost files for me and response was great.

Other than this is not a plug & play item, one needs to call the manufacturer to "set it up" for a MAC, "was easy peasy"
