This thing is great
I used this in a wheel house to mount a monitor for an electronic charting system. Aboard vessels, a free standing monitor is not advisable as everything has to be bolted down. This not only did that in a smaller footprint than a regular monitor base it also gave me tilt and twist capability as well as quick and easy removal of the monitor when necessary. An added bonus...

Perfect solution!
My sister moved into a new (actual brand new) apartment. Since they were just built the lease forbids any nailing/screwing into any walls. She wanted to mount her bedroom TV onto the wall.
