Not what I was shopping for
Was not what I was expecting. It was supposed to connect to my iphone so that I could download my pictures. Does not do that!

Ocean rugged
It's a rugged external hard drive, and I have taken these to sea for years.

Solid drive that will handle things well.
It's my second one in my backup rotation. I like it a lot and it's easy to use. I backup TimeMachine onto it. I feel that this is as close to bomb proof as a drive will be getting.

Packing could be better
Hello I use these drives all the time. New C series is smaller and a nice upgrade. And they are perfect for action photographers. However why 2 drives where put in a box with NO packing to fill the space meant these drives where lose and bouncing around from every handler until it reached my place. Pretty un cool.

Very good item.
This is the third Lacie drive that I have. All of them are great and very protective. I love to use them to back up all my files. Very good.

Works well
This is my first LaCie drive, but after having several WD portable backup drives fail within a couple of years, I decided to use a premium drive. Hopefully it will live up to the reviews I read.

Great External Drive
I have had many of these LaCie Rugged external hard drives. The only reason I ordered this one was that the old one was only 1TB and I ran out of room using it as a Time Machine backup.

Could have gotten a dud ...
Drive went corrupt after only 1 week of using it and had to reformat. Lacie support was not much help. Definitely not interested in trying to keep using this one when that already happened so I'm returning it.

Great external herd drive.
Excellent and durable standalone hard drive. I've had the 3T version for my carry-around hard drive for several years and have no problem when dropped or bumped. So when I needed more storage I went back to the LaCie Rugged external hard drive.
