Exactly what I needed.
This has been a blessing. I am taking care of my elderly parent, and I have cats. It is easy to use. To set up, pop in the batteries and solution, and place pad on the mop. You are ready to mop. Press the button to advance the solution and mop. When finished, remove the pad. More convenient and sanitary than a mop, and easier on my back.

I would never buy anything from this company again
The absolute worst design ever. The button that holds the handle together is crap. It keeps pulling apart. The engineer that designed this needs to be fired. I was a mechanical designer my whole career, and I would not have a job in the field if I designed that.

I really like the mop, however the bottle won’t stay in no matter what I try. I have to push down on the bottle while pressing the button to get it to spray.

I’ve been using a regular swiffer remote for years, without an issue. I purchased the power mop, and the pads fell apart.. I would not recommend this product to anyone. I have a mop with no pads. What am I gonna do with this?

I have had the power mop for almost a year. All of a sudden it is not working it does not spray out. I have replaced the batteries and it still does not work. I would fill out the form for the moneyback guarantee, but I no longer have the box or the receipt.

I loved it when it worked!!
I’m rating this 3 stars because I loved it when it worked! I bought it 2 months ago; I shook it really hard the first time it stopped working, and that fixed it. However, it stopped working again and I can’t get it to work! Oh, and the handle keeps coming off :’•(

This product is not last long. The motor stopped working and now it is rendered useless. The batteries have been changed the mop has been well looked after and now the motor stopped working therefore it cannot spray and cannot be used. The original slipper was much better I never had this issue this is the 2nd power mop I've had in a year with the same issue

Thanks for posting your feedback. Swiffer PowerMops get quality-tested to ensure they work perfectly right out of the box, so we're sorry you've experienced this. One tip would be to double-check that the printed side of the pad is facing the mop head and the white and purple strips are facing the floor. If that still doesn't make a difference in how well it adheres, then kindly give us a call at (800) 742-9220 so we can help you further.

Response from Staples :
We're very sorry you experienced this. These suggestions may get your PowerMop spraying again:
1. If you hear the motor but the mop isn't spraying, make sure you removed the thin piece of cardboard packing in the solution bottle housing compartment.
2. Double-check to make sure all pieces of the mop have snapped together properly during assembly.
3. The nozzles could be clogged. Brushing them could help them to start respraying.
4. You could also try priming the solution bottle by squeezing gently on it while pushing the start button.
5. Only use Swiffer PowerMop solution with your mop. Other cleaning solutions might permanently damage it and cause it to stop working.
6. Make sure any new replacement batteries are AA alkaline and from the same package.
If none of those tips get your mop working again, then to further help you and provide a full report to our Quality Assurance Team, please call us at (800) 742-9220.

We are sorry you had a bad experience while placing the solution, Blair. Hopefully the following tips may help:
-Insert the solution bottle, purple end facing down, into the PowerMop.
-Push the bottle into the device until it is secure.
-Only use the PowerMop solution with the device. Do not open the PowerMop bottle and refill it. This could permanently damage the device and cause it to stop working.

I'll be looking for a replacement.
The new mop pads leave my floors streaky. The overall mop is lighter than the previous one, but I think that is due to the solution bottle being smaller so you are replacing more often. I've used the Swifter products for many years and this is the first time I've been disappointed.

Report
Response from Staples :
We're very sorry to hear about this, Kathy. The streaking may be a result of our PowerMop not being suitable for the type of floor you have. Do not use Swiffer PowerMop on unfinished, oiled, or waxed wooden floors, non-sealed tiles, or carpets.
If your floor is brand new, it may have a special coating to protect it during shipping, and this can cause streaking. If this is the case, using the product a few more times should solve the problem. There could be other explanations too, so we'd like to connect and help. Please call us at (800) 742-9220.
