Pentel Quicker Clicker Mechanical Pencils
I've used my pencil since 1968. I decided to buy a new pretty one, and I'm hoping it will last as long as my old one.

Don't be fooled by the clicker!
The idea of the clicker to bring down the lead is a good one, but the mechanism breaks too easily and then the pencil is no good. For $7 and change, this is a terrible product!! It only lasts a month or two. Don't buy it!

Great product
I’ve been using Pentel mechanical pencils for over 20 years. Love them. I highly recommend them to anyone who does drafting or takes a lot of notes.

Smooth writing, easy clicking.
A bit of a learning curve if you are used to a pencil that clicks at the end, but once one is familiar with it, it's much more user friendly to have the side clicker.

My Favorite Mechanical Pencil
I've use Pentel pencils for several years. After I dropped mine I replaced it with the latest 0.7mm version. I like the slim feel, the rubber grip, the covered eraser, and the side lead advance button. The new one has a slightly "fatter" rubber grip but it still fits in my pen case. Hope it lasts like the previous ones.

Best Mechanical Pencil
These are my favorite pencils to do my Crossword puzzles with. They are easy to maintain, always sharp, and fool people into thinking you’re doing the puzzle in pen! Always having an eraser handy is also great.

A great design very user friendly, but doesn't function reliably
From the first time I used one of these pencils I loved them. The ability to advance the lead without re-positioning your hand, while writing, in order to advance the lead, by simply pressing the push lever on the side near the tip made these pencils much more convenient to use than any other mechanical pencil I had ever come across. Superb Mechanical Pencil
The side-clicker on these mechanical pencils is fantastic! No interruption in writing or calculating because there is no need to shift your hand to renew the lead. The side location insures that you just go and go and go!!! These are FANTASTIC!!!

Best mechanical pencil!
My very favorite pencil. I have a lot of them & never leave home without at least one. And they have a great warranty. If there’s a problem with one, they will send you a replacement. They have two sizes: 5 & 7mm. I prefer the 7mm. Highly recommend.
