Mechanical Pencil
I use the Zebra Mechanical Pencil all the time now. I have a small grocery list notepad/coupon holder. It fits nicely in my purse. I got it from Vera Bradley online. It has a pen/pencil holder. Can NOT refill it and make it work.
If you try to refill the pencil it will NOT advance the lead. Seems to be a frequent problem in the reviews. Sad thing is that the Provider will not offer a solution or even address the problem.

Love this brand and especially this pencil
Been using Zebra refillable pens for years - now delighted with their mechanical pencil. I had no problem using pentel refills in the .5 size.

Japanese made pens and pencils are the best made pens and pencils. Japanese people take pride in quality and completeness. The re-fill of the pens and pencils, where just refills are needed, plus the metal housing of the pen and pencil adds to the durability that completes the usefulness of these pens and pencils.

Won't advance refill lead
After original lead ran out, Pentel & other refill lead can't be clicked through the tip. There's resistance just inside the mechanical-side of the opening of the metal tip-tube. Will buy Pentel!!

not a good mech pencil
This pencil looks real good and has a very comfortable grip but it breaks the leads inside very easily and you end up wasting a lot of lead as a result. Also it clogs and does not allow new lead to come through the tip when you need one and you have to take it apart and shove a new lead through the bottom. I do not recommend this pencil at all.
