Too soft. Breaks very easily. Not dark enough. Quite expensive for 36 refills. Would strongly recommend that a stronger refill should be manufactured. Or a thicker lead be utilized.

Fine Point
Having used the three most common sizes of mechanical pencil points my preferred is the 0.05 Fine point. This tube of the proper size pencil graphite is exactly right!

Great dark lead
I really love this lead. It is very dark. You do not need to press hard to have a dark mark. Although you do have to be mindful to turn the pencil as you write or uneven ware well cause it to break. Overall. Best lead.

My high schoolers love mechanical pencils. They are always asking for refills and these Pentel Lead Refills are great. They are protected in the case and they are good quality.
