staples brand plastic pencil box
neat size to fit many(~50) any size pencils & pens,+ erasers,hand held sharpeners; one compartment; stackable without sliding; stays shut; sturdy; translucent blue or clear colors available; price is next to nothing making it a very worthy purchase, so get more than just one like I did.

Do not purchase these items!
I don't usually write reviews but these boxes were so awful that I thought I needed to say something. I purchased over $600 worth of school supplies but due to a limit on items, only 5 pencil boxes. All 5 were defective. They did not snap close, also, they were flimsy and unusable. I threw them in the trash.

Delivery was left unattended,exposed to the public
The delivery of more than 45 boxes was left unattended and placed outside the school building, exposed to the public, which was very disappointing. The delivery was made at 5:04 PM, after the office had closed. Although the custodian’s phone number was clearly posted on the front door, the delivery agent did not attempt to make contact. Translucent Plastic Pencil Box Does the Job
Teacher review: Easily holds a couple dozen colored pencils with a small sharpener and 3 oz. portion cup for shavings. Room for other items, too. Students are rough on pencil boxes that stay on classroom tables so I wish they were a bit more durable, but since these have sold for under a dollar at back-to-school time for years, these are always my go-to pencil boxes!

Snap cases
These work great. They have magnetic metal clips at the ends so that the closing clip does not fall off the ends. They are made of sturdy plastic and fit a lot of items because they are slightly expandable at each end. I would recommend them.
