Great pencil
I've used Pentel pencils for over 40 years as an engineering student, combat aviator, and planner. I still miss my P225 but you can never go wrong with a Pentel writing instrument.

LOVE THE COLORS!
I LOVE WHAT ONE PAST REVIEWER WROTE: I love this pencil...I had to tape a note on it saying "not yours" so nobody in my office takes off with it. BUT ON MINE I ALWAYS WRITE "MOM"!

Good reliable mechanical pencil
I use mechanical pencils for drawing. I’ve had one for several years. I bought this one to carry a different weight of lead. I would recommend these pencils to anyone.

Pentel Sharp Mechanical Drafting Pencil
The lead inconsistently advances through the pencil when pushing the top of the pencil down, when trying to use it. Very annoying and don't know if I'll buy more..

Pentel mech. pencil comparison
This Pentel P205B is identical to the Pentel P205A except its burgundy rather than black and its $0.90 more expensive. Can't see the difference.

My favorite
It's been my favourite pencil since1985. It writes legibly in small spaces. Erases cleanly. I love clicking for lead vs turning. I use it to mark music, to do my ledgers. I have two or three strategically placed around the house so I always have one where and when I want to write. Thanks.
