Old-school time management
Even with electronic calendars and reminders on phones and computers I still find it useful to have a physical paper copy of things to do and things done. I find the notebook size convenient for having enough space to write notes. Also the plastic folder is useful for gathering receipts. And there is a plastic sleeve for business cards.

Out of Date
I returned this item because the calendar in it was outdated. It began with 2010 and ended with 2015. Seems that for planning purposes you should at least have next year. Too bad because I really Liked the notebook portion and the carrying case.

I opened the parcel to find a major manufacturer flaw in the item. So I took it back to my local Staples store and the store mgr gladly exchanged it for a perfect one (a $65 item - not inexpensive). The new one is just fine.

I like the professional look of the Day-Timer Avalon Attache. I like that it included the starter kit. It contains all items needed during the day without having to look in another place. It is a good backup for technology in case their is a computer problem with scheduling etc. I highly recommend it as a lightweight attractive addition to your personal office.

disappointed
Could not open the case in the store. When I got it home the calendar was completely outdated. So basically I paid for the daytimer and case but only got the case which was overpriced. I like the case A LOT and it served the purpose for which I bought it but I'm disappointed that I overpaid and didn't reap the benefit of a Day-timer too.

Classy and Functional
Well made good amount of space functional and just what I wanted. The only issue I have is for the price I should get a full year calendar--not a started kit for 1/2 the year.

I love it!
It's all I need in one easy CARRY ALL case! I can even fit my Surface Pro in it along with a couple files AND my calendar! It's all a busy girl needs :0)

Very nice case for the money
I wanted a nice looking leather notebook to use for planning purposes. This one looks great holds a lot and has handy pockets inside and out. The only downside is that it's a little heavy but I'm not sure that can be helped. Love mine!

Seems like it should last for years
It would be nice if it had a place to stick pen inside so it doesn't run loose inside the case. I think the original price was WAY to high. If it hadn't been for price matching cutting the cost by over 60% I would have never purchased it. High quality yes replacement parts availability if you can find them are expensive. bulky but worth it
If you do some serious planning or just like to have plenty of room this planner is great. The best thing is that it only has three rings so that you are able to put regular 8 1/2 x 11 paper in it with a regular three hole punch. The handles are nice since this will not fit in anything but a large purse or briefcase.
