The best choice!
I developed a liking for these in middle school and seemed to always come back to them. They always seemed a little cooler than the twist erase that was probably more popular which I always liked too. But really, I think it was about always having a clean, ready, reliable tool I could count on in crunch time. Pentel made this one a winner.

Changes in the Old Classic
Pentel's Quicker Clicker has been my favorite mechanical pencil for going on three decades. As a professional, its convenient side advance means I don't have to stop writing if the lead breaks, or gets worn down. The .5mm lead allows me to write very small characters, sometimes necessary.
