.5mm refill leads
I've been using Pentel leads for years. They're the best. Pencils normally come with HB (#2 pencil) lead which is too soft for my drawing needs, so I go to the H lead which is equivalent to a #2 1/2 pencil. If you want a #3 pencil go with 2H lead. 3H to 6H lead gets even harder. For softer lead go to F, then 2B-6B get even softer (artist sketching primarily).

I TAKE MEETIG MINUTES OFTEN, AND THESE LEADS ARE JUST PERFECT FOR MY TYPE OF SHORTHAND (PITMAN) WHICH USES LIGHT & DARK STROKES TO DIFFERENTIATE THE WORDS. THIS TYPE OF LEAD IS JUST RIGHT.

Refill leads. I use the Pentel graph gear 1000. Love this pencil, great leads for drawing, smudging, getting depths of layers. Can seal with a fixative. Super fast shipping.
