Not going well
Could not reload lead into pencil, I have bought at least 3 .03 pencils and I’ve never been able to reload. Bummer! Please advise!

This lead is used by engineers to help in designing tools. I can never find it in stores. It is the best lead I have ever found. I was helped by a young lady at the Muncie staples store. Lead for mechanical pencils
This particular lead size should be sold in the stores but I was happy to find this size online. It tends to break rather easily unlike other lead sizes .07 or .05.

Thinnest lead available in the general market
I do wish Staples stock B, 2B(4B if available) variants. Depending on the paper, HB is just not dark enough. Pentel does make the thinnest, 0.2mm is only available as import websites, Amazon, usually directly from Japan. Some complain about breakage of 0.3mm leads but that's the law of physics, you should see the breakage on 0.2mm leads comparatively. Just like the sing...
