You can write legibly with BOTH tips
The thin tip is great for letter signatures, the fat tip is great on Post-Its to draw attention. FRESH Sharpies are always a safe bet.

Sharpie Twin Tip Permanent Markers ~ Perfection!
I am very happy with my recent purchase of Sharpie Twin Tip Permanent Markers! In each marker, you get the option of a fine tip plus an ultra-fine tip. I use the ultra-fine tip when writing on Post-it Notes and the fine tip when marking shipping boxes. In my opinion, it's a "win-win"!

Just enough color
The twin tip pack is great for color-coding jobs, as well as staff schedules, with just enough colored options (that you can see on white paper). Having both fine and ultrafine tips is also helpful for adding extra notes/detail.
