Great pencil
I was a decades long lover of Paper Mate mechanical pencil - until recently the "lead" has changed and is inferior. (Poor legibility, too light, scratchy feeling when writing.) I tried these as a substitute (reluctantly) and am very pleased with smoothness and intensity of "lead". Enjoy.

does not damange pockets
It's great to finally have an affordable mechanical pencil that will not punch holes in my pockets or stab my leg. The cost is low enough that I don't have to fuss about misplacing a dozen of these over the course of a year. Seems to be a good design and it writes and erases well.
This seems like a good design and so far it works well. I like that the sharp tip is retractable, so it doesn't make holes in my shirt pocket. I wish the colors were less bright and I suspect I will run out of eraser before the pencil wears out, but otherwise I'm very satisfied.
