Pencils
I looked all over mechanical pencils thst use 0.5. I only found it at Staples. I have not used the pencils yet but used these everyday when I worked.

I ordered (and received) 5mm pencils but the pack of lead that came in the package is 7mm. Package was sealed so I'm assuming it was a PaperMate quality control issue...

Back to school
My granddaughter needed some school supplies for her project. She is a sophomore at Stevenson University studying to be a teacher. She also needed input from your printing staff as to how to prepare a poster for her assignment. The staff was very helpful and polite providing her with options. Another great visit.

Reliable and durable
These Paper Mate Clearpoint mechanical pencils are my go-to. I've used them for over 10 years. If you want a pencil that writes well last forever (using graphite lead and eraser refills ) and has a fantastic grip these pencils are for you. Give them a try!

Mechanical pencils
I feel that these have a "sloppy" mechanism and I never know if I can write a whole sentence without it either having NO lead or dropping a piece of lead. No my finger is no resting on the push button lead extender.

The lead breaks too easily
I used to live the fine tip pencil until I bought myself a new one. I realized that these new pencils and the lead break way to easily with the slightest amount of pressure. Will never buy this again
