Simple, lightweight, yet rugged
Nice, simple mechanical pencil. The pointy tip can retract into itself so when putting into a shirt pocket, it does not poke. Best part is the erasers are large size and it comes with extra erasers and extra 0.7 leads.

Eraser is TERRIBLE
The eraser on these pencils are terrible. Ned to replace with a typical pink eraser.

Mechanical pencils
They work good. The erasers are smaller than I'd like, however the pencil writes well.

Not what I was looking for
I wanted a pencil that would write darker and broader. It is more of a drawing pencil. Maybe something for an engineer or designer. The package says “precise" and it comes in .5 mm and .7mm lead. I bought the .7, but it writes fainter than I would like for my purpose. It may be just right, depending on your needs.

Lead is fragile, breaks too easily and moves a lot when trying to write. The comfort of the actual pencil is perfect for me though

Using gift card
Finally used money on gift card! I made a cash purchase last year and tried to return it with receipt a week later. Instead of getting cash back, I was given a card. The staff was nice when we were shopping for the 2 pen sets.

Writes comfortably
I love these pencils. I get writers cramp from skinny pencils and this is just the right size to where I dont have hand pain.

Great Pencil
The Paper Mate ComfortMate Ultra Mechanical Pencil works well and writes smooth. It holds the lead securely and allows moderate pressure for those who like to "bear down" without breaking the point. Mechanical Pencil
The pencil is comfortable to use, however, the #7 lead is not dark enough as I expected. The mechanical pencil lead is not soft like a #2 lead wooden pencil. I have other brands of lead refills so one of them may be darker than the lead that came with the pencil. It's an attractive item to carry in my purse or use at home.

Average pencil
I thought the eraser was a twist type but it’s not. While the lead is 0.7m I’m not thrilled with the print. It’s ok for the price but wouldn’t purchase again.

Great pencil
I love the pencil, the grip, easy refill and the eraser. The only drawback is getting replacement erasers without having to buy a new package of pencils, lead refills and eraser refills.

A Great Mechanical Pencil
I stood in front of the wall of mechanical pencils, picking them up, looking them over! I think I was waiting for a voice from above to say, "That's the one." Well the voice never came, but I decided to go with these Paper Mate pencils. I have arthritis in my hands and the comfort grip on this is great - I don't have to grip it too tight to keep it positioned the way...

My favorite pencil
I usually am able to keep this pencil at my desk for months at a time. It is so easy to refill. I am glad it comes in a two pack, so when one sprouts legs and walks off with someone, I do not have to panic.
