I received this product in a timely fashion as does Staples do with all my orders. The pencil is very nifty. By depressing the top you can advance the lead to the length you desire. Reliable fine writing
I’m using this pencil to fill a smallish calendar block with the menu for each day, so I needed a very fine-tip pencil for the job. And the eraser nicely removes the menu I first wrote down when I change my mind. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Disappointed
Increasing the lead in both pencils didn't work properly. I never got one of them to write at all. I was thinking of returning them, but it's not worth the hassle.

Made me believe
Wow. I got these two mechanical pencils and I love them. The lead and the eraser go up and down. In and out. What fun. And I never have to use the old pencil sharpener. I feel I’m truly living in the 21 century.

Pentel Makes Great Pencils
These pencils are great, have used them for years. I bought these to replace the ones that I have had for 30 years or more that I used for accounting work before the days of Excel, even before the days of Lotus 1-2-3 or Symphony or Eight in 1. They are fine pencils, very well made. I highly recommend them.

Great pencil. Unlike most mechanicals that hardly offer an eraser, this one offers plenty in a clever twisting retraction mechanism.
