I—erroneously—expected technology to have advanced beyond where it is in Sept 2025. Apparently we still need to download lots of different “drivers” or other interim software to make this flash drive accessible to our operating systems. SD Card read /write a life saver
Used it for retaining photos of my mother who has recently passed. Used it again to make 20x30 picture of my mother for the memorial ceremony. It really helped make it all go easier

Didn't Activate
Package saud for mac & PC for OS 10 or higher but the Icon never appeared on my macbook screen. Frustrating. I called Vivitar and rep said it could be defective. Returned to Staples for refund.

Nice 2.0 card reader
This was a upgrade from something I had used for many years that finally broke. I needed this in a pinch and it worked great for a USB 2.0 micro SD card reader. I haven't bench marked it against my USB 3.0 card reader but it is easier than the USB 3.0 reader to use. Plug the card in the back and the reader in to the PC and go. Easy to use with my Nikon cameras.
Works great with my CompactFlash(Nikon) Extreme card. Used with my HP laptop & HP tower. Can photo edit without download.

Convenience!!
I find this item to be useful in so many ways. Not just for my photos but for files as well. I still prefer that paper copy and this is great!

Raspian Loaded
This device successfully wrote the Rasbian OS to a 32 GB micro SD card and it booted my Raspberry Pi 4 with no problems. Even though it is USB 2.0 it was as fast as the NVM erase process for this card could perform. No issues at all.

Bought wrong adapter
Bought the device to read a SIMM chip from phone. The SIMM chip was too big for adapter and only has phone setup information not address book and
