Pad has a disclaimer that it could mar or damage most wood desk surfaces. So what kind of Protection is THAT!

Way Overpriced!
I am very happy with the quality of the product but it is WAT OVERPRICED!!! A 17" x 22" piece of plastic should cost under $10. I was caught in a moment of weakness and purchased the product but I am sure if I did a little research on-line would have found a similar product for far less.

important infomration missing from description
The packaging on this item indicates that it should not be used on urethane wood finishes. This was not indicated in the listing.

Clear Desk Pad
Clear protective desk pad excellent for wooden desks. Capable of placing documents needing visibility beneath the pad yet still accessible on the desk. Priced right. Wishing there were bigger versions as available in other available desk pads.

A Slide Pad.
This plastic desk pad looks very nice. My only problem was that it slides about my desk top. The previous one I had didn't do this. I kept special information under the pad. I would review carefully to get your desired type.

Suits me just fine
I put it over a jigsaw puzzle on my desk. It is not quite big enough but will protect most of it. The glossy finish reflects light so that's not so good for seeing the image underneath it. But glossy is also easier to keep clean so it is acceptable. Also my optical mouse works fine on it.

Handy item
This item protects our desks made of real wood. No scratches or smudges. I can put my family's pictures or notes under it and they are protected. They are easy to clean and VERY long lasting. I have purchased 4 for the office.

It is just so elegant on our marble desk
We wanted something that shows the marble under the desk pad and this was perfect

My Plastic Desk Pad is fine
It's a good pad for my desk preventing wear and tear. But I thought it was relatively expensive too.

Endurable desk pad
I did purchase the plastic desk pad. Thus us a very good piece of equipment. I use them on all my desk calendars. I enjoy shopping at Staples. The sales person was helpful in locating what I was looking for.
