Hardware encrpted drive
Cant use another drive in this enclosure if it fails. Nor can you use this drive in another enclosure. Uses hardware encrption. Your data is useless if enclosure fails and drive is good.

Awesome, easy set up
Bought this as I have run out of space in my other external drive. Have had WD products for at least 8 years and they are very reliable. Never a problem.
