Lasted 3 months
My WD drives have usually lasted a couple years before failing, but unfortunately this one failed after only 3 months.

Stay away
It worked for 5 minutes, and then it would not work any more. Power light was on, but the disk was not detected by the disk utility in Mac OS, and it was only detected for one minute by the WD utilities. Could not erase, partition, etc. I would recommend getting the normal HDD and format for Mac instead.
