"Size on disc" fail
The "size on Disc" differs greatly from the actual amount of data placed on the disc. I was hoping to transfer all of the data on my 12 TB disc onto it, but I ran out of space before the transfer was complete. Consequently I was required to buy another passport to offload some of the data from my 12 TB drive, as it was already in the red.

Response from Staples :
Hello, We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Please be informed that systems will use both decimal and binary to measure the size. 20tb WD Drive
Everything seems to be working with such a large data storage. Its a little noisy when transferring, which is a bit disconcerting, but I suppose the disc has to move to read and write. Hoping for a good long life

the ladies were right: bigger really is better
largest drive I have purchased so far, working fine. Though it could have been cheaper, within a week after purchase 22Tb drives became available.
