Storage on the go
Need external/extra storage for a project as well as something that has a very small footprint, the My Passport checked all the boxes.

up to 5gb/s?!
up to 5gb/s?!
who are you kidding?!
clean new install win10 x64 with everything disabled and maximum speed:
read 0.09gb/s / write 0.08gb/s
your cable with adapter type-c
tested on USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C and Thunderboltâ„¢ 4 (almost same speed)
copy from Corsair MP700 PRO 2TB (that actually stands behind their speed that they promised)
here is test screen

Pretty Reliable
I have 5 of the 5TB passports. They are running locally and remotely 24 hours a day working in a media server. 2 1/2 years now with zero problems.
