Only lasted 18 months
Bought this late Feb 2023, used it on/off with Win 10 PC, lasted only 18 months, now getting click of death noises on it and warranty is only 1 year.

Drive makes clicking noises on Windows 11
Drive showed an error on Windows 11 when I first connected it new. I had to scan it to fix the error. After that the drive kept making clicking noises. When the clicking noises didn't stop I returned it for a full refund. The return process with Staples was a hassle and a time waster, but eventually I got my money back.

Out of the box, computer gave error message reading the drive. We returned it for a full refund.

Trusted Drive from Toshiba
The quality of Toshiba disk drives can be trusted and this one is no exception. Toshiba external drives work perfectly for my needs because of its capability to sleep while connected to my NAS system. External drives from Seagate do not perform the same.

Hard drive didn't work -- had to return
I installed the drive and it did not work -- tried two Macs and one PC ... west of money and time (to return)
