WOW - THESE ARE AMAZING

These things are amazing, they far exceed my expectations. They are color coded, made of cardboard and hold everything I stuff in them. Unbeleivable that a file folder can do so much. I was only originally going to give them a 4 star rating untill i realized that you can write in them to. The third blue one, we'll call him Bob has a personality all his own, he just keeps on giving while not asking for anything in return. I should be saint Bob.

For goodness sake it is a file folder.

Great quality but need lighter colors

Great quality but colors are too dark to allow you to write labels with pen directly on the folder. Make the purple a lighter shade and I would give this product five stars.

I would only use heavy-duty folders like these for client files. I move them in and out of file drawers, often wrap them with a rubber-band and they bounce around on the car seat and between the seats.
Flimsy file folders would never be adequate. These are perfect and the colors are bright and refreshing.

I homeschool my children & we use these file folders to make lapbooks for books that they read throughout the school year. They are a nice weight & hold up very well. The kids like having a variety of colors to choose from & these folders are nice, not washed out or faded looking. I also use them to keep my papers organized. I will continue to buy them.

Heads up regarding the yellow file folders - I purchased this product based on the existing online reviews. When I was at the store, when I opened the first box of file folders, I was surprised to find that the yellow file folders had obvious, sporadic black specks. I had to go through the 12 or so boxes on the shelf before I was able to find a box where all of the yellow file folders were OK. The other colors were fine. It's a good thing that I purchased this in the store because I would be very upset if I had ordered this online and received a box with flawed yellow file folders. Even though the file folders are constructed from recycled paper, the other colors didn't have this problem. Although this type of defect may not bother other people, I want to get the best quality for my hard-earned money.

  No these folders are not scored for fasteners only scored for 3/4" expansion. May I suggest the Staples item #807775 Colored Reinforced Tab Fastener Folders, or item # 105049, Self-Adhesive Fasteners.

Q:
The answer to the last question didn't make sense to me. You do carry these folders in the colors of green & blue because they are shown above. If they can be packed 10 of each into a box to sell "assorted"......why would it not be possible to instead pack 50 that are all blue into a box? I am not interested in buying the lighter weight standard folders and I need 50 blue heavyweight folders. Is there a way to accommodate this need? or do I need to search elsewhere?

  They're pretty much saying they can't do anything for you and that they didn't think to sell the individual colored folders. I was hoping for blue ones as well. Since staples is useless for this case I suggest OfficeMax. Search either of these numbers 20806013/0M97661

  We do not offer a heavy weight folders in those colors. We do offer reinforced tab folders in blue and green. Please refer to item 508960 (green) and 508911 (blue). These are standard file folders that have tabs that are twice as thick and the standard file folder.
