Thermal paper requires darkness, temperatures below 77 degrees Fahrenheit, and humidity between 45 and 65 percent to give satisfactory performance. Once printed, receipt papers remain clear and legible for up to seven years with proper filing. 

Is there eco-friendly paper?
Some receipt paper rolls come in an eco-friendly design. Some are free of bisphenol A (BPA) and others are phenol-free. This means they do not contain harmful or toxic chemicals that could seep into the skin after prolonged use. They still offer clear, legible, and quality printing.
