Axis Q1700-LE is specially designed to capture license plate images with exceptional clarity and sharpness. It delivers excellent HDTV 1080p and ensures the required pixel density for license plate identification as well as plate markings, such as transporting dangerous goods. Each camera captures traffic in one lane at a range of up to 328' during daytime. For coverage of multiple lanes, more cameras can easily be installed. In pitch darkness the camera captures license plate images at up to 164' and up to 328' with the optional accessory Axis T90D20 IR-LED Illuminator. Axis Q1700-LE includes a built-in license plate capture assistant to ensure easy setup for best video performance. Simply enter the installation height, distance to the vehicle and expected speed, and the license plate capture assistant automatically adjusts the image settings to perfectly fit your specific scene.
