The shelves are made of 5mm thick tempered glass for extra strength and is safely secured to the wall bracket with screws. Each shelf can support up to 17.6 lbs. (8 Kg) of weight. Mount-It! shelving system is UL certified for the rated load capacity. Our competition does not have this certification.
