It will not work with devices that are only controlled by RF or Bluetooth, such as Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast or Roku sticks. Thanks to the remote's convenient key layout, there's no need to switch between devices. Once your 3 streaming devices are set up, certain keys will operate your TV and/or sound bar, while the rest of the keys will be assigned to your streamer box, controlling 3 devices as 1. The color ring will tell you which device you are controlling thanks to fully customizable feedback colors—use the preprogrammed device colors or select your favorite yourself. This remote has a learning function that can copy functions from any original remote. The Streamer Remote does require 4 AAA batteries, which are not included.
