- Gel ink
- Has the water–resistant properties of ballpoint ink and the smooth writing feel of rollerball ink.
- Gigabyte
- One billion bytes or bits of information. Often measures computer hard drive, portable hard drive, tape drive, and DVD memory size.
- Gigahertz
- One billion hertz, or times per second. A common measure of computer processing speeds.
- GPS
- Global Positioning System. A network of several satellites, operated by the US Defense Department, that orbit the earth and enable people with receivers to determine their location. A great help for people who are lost, but also a useful tool for cartographers, miners, and forest managers.
- Graffiti
- Shorthand method to "write" or transfer data into a handheld, using a stylus and moving it across an LCD touchscreen.
- Graphics cards
- A circuit board used to provide faster 3D acceleration for gaming and higher fill rates for more realistic graphics.
- Gregg ruled
- Has 11/32" spacing between each line with a center margin.
- Group policy
- Simplifies the administration of groups of users or computers.
