Used to input characters into a PC and to control PC functions and peripherals. There are different keyboards available for different uses. Some models allow you to connect peripherals directly to them and others offer quick–buttons that give instant Internet access and other one–touch commands.
Keyboard (handheld)
Most handhelds have a miniature keyboard for data entry. Some models can also attach to an external keyboard that makes typing easier and can be folded up to about the size of a checkbook and carried.
Kilobyte
One thousand bytes. A byte is the smallest unit of storage in a computer or storage media disk; each character in a Word document, for instance, takes up about one byte of space. Also a measure of calculator memory. Each kilobyte represents approximately 1,000 bytes (characters) that can be stored in the calculator at one time.
Knee-tilt mechanism
Allows the seat to tilt forward and back with your feet flat on the floor. Reduces leg muscle strain as well as pressure on the spine.
