Voltage Amperes capacity. Describes the total number of volt–amperes a UPS system can support. When plugging in a computer, computer monitor (and other peripherals) into a UPS system, you should add up the volt–ampere requirements of each and make sure it is less than or equal to the VA capacity of the UPS device. If the volt–ampere totals exceed the VA capacity, look for a UPS device with a greater VA capacity.
