I purchased four kinds of iron-ons last year to make t-shirts for a family vacation. I printed the same design from my HP onto the various tranfers, following the directions applied them to a single Jerzees 50/50 Heavyweight tee. I waited 24 hours and then washed the shirt. The point was to see which held up best before putting out the money to purchase enough to do 15 t-shirts. Avery won hands down. I put my daughter into a "practice" shirt just the other day, the shirt is now 9 months old and the front still looks great! The back was another iron on product and the difference in color fade was huge! I am creating another 20 shirts for an upcoming trip in May 2012 and will defintely be purchasing these iron-ons again, except the Dark Shirt version this time.

bought this pack to use to put things on Tshirts and it was not the quality that I expected or needed. Had to peel it off and take to the screenprinter to do the shirts professionally.
I have used these for another project where we put pictures on a smaller piece of fabric to place on a memory quilt. This product worked great for that, but not so for the tshirts.
Comments about Avery 3271 Inkjet Light Fabric Transfers, 8-1/2" x 11", 6/Pack:
There are two versions of this product made, one for light fabrics and one for dark. My daughter had bought yellow tshirts to decorate. On the front of the light package, it showed a yellow tshirt, so this is the one we bought. While it worked well, the yellow is showing through all of the white on the design. We would have been better off buying the dark for this application.
For what it is worth, we have used the one for light fabrics and put it on white shirts and they work great. Just be careful using something other than white.
Comments about Avery 3271 Inkjet Light Fabric Transfers, 8-1/2" x 11", 6/Pack:
This was my second project. For the first project, I used a store brand of iron on transfer. It worked very well. For the next job, I bought the Avery iron ons. I was very disappointed, First of all, it took me over a half hour to iron it on. I followed the directions to the "t", however, it did not iron on very well. The finished product was wrinkly and loose around the edges. I had no problems whatsoever with the stores brand.

Comments about Avery 3271 Inkjet Light Fabric Transfers, 8-1/2" x 11", 6/Pack:
Product peels up, even after ironing for the instructed amount of time. Once the transfer paper has been peeled back, you can't iron it again, so if it's for an article of clothing, it can't be pressed. The transfer wrinkles when laundered. Overall, very disappointed.
This product is usable on mouse pads, but the continual mouse motion and movement on the mouse pad may cause too much friction on the imprinted design.
