As you can imagine, there are no shortage of gel pens available to choose from. There are many pricey "fine pens" that sell for as high as $40 or more at Staples. But, you need not spend anywhere near that for a good pen. The Energel pens have the most perfect, butter smooth ink flow I've ever experienced in a gel pen. They write better than Pilot's G-2 pens. Trust me, I've tried nearly every pen you might find in a Staples and the only pens that come close for overall performance are the Staedtler pens. But the Alloy Finish Energel is more than just a good pen. It's stylish and sleek. I've gotten as many compliments about it's looks as my $30 Cross gel pen. The alloy Energel costs about [$]!!! If you are looking for a quality pen with style to match, save yourself some cash and buy the Energel alloy gel pen.

Love the pink and the silver pens. Purchased both of them. In fact had to purchase the pink one twice since someone at work took my pink one. Writes very smoothly and is a good feel pen.

This is a good quality gel pen that writes smoothly and with good definition. I like the fact that it is retactable and thus I don't have to fuss with or misplace caps. Additionally, it is nice to own a good gel pen with available refills in two colors.
It is a good product at a reasonable price.
