I use the laptop daily for hours at a time. I was getting a lot of neck and back pain from the uncomfortable position of the laptop on the desk. This riser allows me to view the laptop as I do my Home PC, looking straight on. I can lean my hands on the keyboard comfortably also so it is comfortable. I am able to gain more room on the desk, also. it is also sturdy enough to lean on and not feel as though it is going to fall over. I LOVE THIS. I am going to recommend this to all my friends! Can't think of any cons at all!

This is a GREAT product if you're not using a docking station. I've been using it for a couple of weeks, but our IT person just informed me that because the docking station isn't supported, it's pulling on the inputs. So, now I have to get other notebook riser. I recommend this if you don't use a docking station.

    While this isn't the fanciest out there, it handles most all Curved Hosuing Laptops better than any of the others I looked and tried. MAC's fit well on this stand with no fear of the laptop sliding off and causing damage.

                        A:

                        The docking station would sit on the riser just like in the picture shown. The station would extend past the laptop, but this riser would support it. If you notice any excess pulling on the inputs of your dock or laptop I would suggest returning the item as this could cause your laptop parts to fail. Unfortunately 3M does not provide a list of supported laptops and docking stations to avoid this occurrence.
