The Cisco® QSFP-40G-SR4= 40-Gigabit QSFP+ transceiver modules is a hot swappable input/output device that connects the system's module port electrical circuitry with either a copper or a fiber-optic network. This hot-swappable transceiver module transfers the data over parallel multi-mode fiber-optical module with four independent optical transmit and receive channels. These channels can terminate in another 40-Gigabit QSFP+ transceiver or can be broken out to four separate 10-Gigabit SFP+ transceivers.
