For best results, it is recommended that you prime the chalkboard prior to use by taking the side of a chalk stick and rubbing it on the entire surface of the board. Wipe chalk off with a dry cloth and use. A damp microfiber cloth can be used to clean the surface of the board. Do not oversaturate. Priming may be required after cleaning.
