The next time you are buying supplies for your office or personal use, why not consider envelopes that are produced with at least a portion of recycled fibers? With more and more manufacturers committed to an eco-friendly mission, recycled envelopes are available in a plethora of sizes, colors, and window styles.

For the Greener Good
The use of "post-consumer" fiber is the gold standard when it comes to recycled paper products, but just what exactly does the term imply? Simply put, these fibers come straight from the recycling bin after already having lived a previous life as a consumer product. By using these repurposed fibers, manufacturers can seriously reduce the number of trees that must be felled to produce paper. Many recycled envelopes contain at least 30% post-consumer paper fiber.

A Size for Every Mailing
The workhorse of most office supply rooms is the famous No. 10 (4-1/8" x 9-1/2") business envelope. Perfectly sized to fit your letterhead, the No. 10 is available in a recycled envelope, with or without a left-side window. Should you opt for a reply envelope, consider the No. 9 (3-7/8" x 8-7/8"). It is just the right size to fit snugly inside the No. 10. Whatever your needs, from small (3-5/8" x 6-1/2") to large (9" x 12"), there is a recycled envelope option, many of which also feature a clear window.

A Rainbow of Colors
When you think business envelopes, it is understandable to assume the color options begin and end with white. While once that may have been true, it no longer is the case. Recycled envelopes, both with and without windows, are produced in a wide spectrum of colors. You can find everything from ivory to orange to purple to pink. For brochure mailings, you can send a clear signal to your mailing list that something special is inside, courtesy of a brightly colored envelope.
