Using Gift Cards
You can use your Staples gift card in all Staples retail stores in the U.S and on staples.com, excluding Instacart orders and custom Print & Marketing Services on staples.com. Gift cards are currently not redeemable on mobile devices. There’s no expiration date, and you won’t be charged any service fees.
Following each purchase, your receipt will show the remaining balance on the card. Money can be added to your card at any Staples U.S. retail store.
Gift cards cannot be used for credit card payments or to purchase other gift cards (including Staples gift cards) or wireless cards. No more than five cards may be used for any single purchase. Cards may not be consolidated.

eGift Cards
With an eGift Card, you can choose a denomination of $25, $50, $75 or $100 and have the eGift delivered to your email inbox within 24 hours.
You do not need to print your eGift Card in color. Just make sure the card number is clear. If it's not, you may need a new ink cartridge. (Need to restock? We can help with that.) You can print an eGift Card as many times as you need to; the amount of the eGift Card is tied to the gift card number, not the printout. When that number is used, the amount of the purchase is deducted from the eGift Card. You should safeguard your eGift Card number for your own protection. If someone copies your eGift Card and redeems it for the full amount, your copy will have no value.
Lost Gift Cards
If you lose your gift card, or a printed copy of your eGift Card, contact us immediately. If your eGift Card has not been redeemed or has some remaining value, we can cancel the original and issue you a new eGift Card for that amount.
